David Suazo is a retired Honduran professional footballer who played as a striker. He was born on November 5, 1979, in La Ceiba, Honduras. Suazo began his professional career with Olimpia in Honduras before moving to Italy to join Serie A club Cagliari in 1999.
Suazo went on to have successful spells with both Cagliari and Internazionale, where he won several Serie A titles and domestic cups. He was known for his pace, agility, and goal-scoring ability. Suazo also had a successful international career with the Honduran national team, representing his country in multiple Copa America tournaments and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
After retiring from professional football, Suazo has been involved in coaching and youth development programs in Honduras. He is considered one of the greatest footballers in Honduran history.
